{Fall Favorites! 2012}

Ask any photographer around, and they'll tell you from September thru November, you are as busy as an accountant during tax season. I'm currently backed up 6 sessions in editing, which makes for some long nights...especially since this isn't my full time job...remember, I have 16, 17, & 18 year olds tugging on me at school too. :) You're about to scroll thru some of my 2012 Fall favorite images, and there will be more to come. I have been horrible about blogging each session, so here goes nothin'! {these are in no particular order, just the random order that blogger threw them in} :)

Love this mama and her sweet kids...

Can't wait to shoot Miss Mattie's senior pics later this year...

Welcome Back!

I think I almost forgot my password to log into the blog...yes, it's been that long! I'm finally sitting down, at my new computer, and trying to blog some of my latest images! It'd take three days to sit down and blog each session! SO, I'm just going to put some of my favorites from this summer! We have had an amazing summer with awesome trips to Illinois, Inks Lake, and Kerrville....and tons of trips to the pool. Daddy heads back to coaching on Monday, so we're trying to soak up our last few days around here as a family of 4. If you know Texas High School football, then you know he'll be living in the field house until December {hopefully}. Moving on to the pictures, that's why you're here, right?!

Sweet Cora and her family

Miss Elle and her mommy

My two...one of my new favorites of them!

Miss Harper turned 1!

My cousins in Illinois!

Mr. Mack and his family

Nicole and Tony are getting married in August!

Stormi & Chad got married in May!

There ya have it! I'm sure some got left out, but this is me promising to do a better job of blogging! Have a great weekend!

{Superman and His Sister}

I thought I'd share a few pictures of my two kiddos. Here in the next few weeks, if this Houston weather will decide what it wants to do, I'm going to get Trey out for his 6 year old pics...this quick 10 minute session was on our way to church Saturday evening, and we just pulled over in a field that had some awesome light. I am loving Trey's Superman shirt that he got from his Mimi for his birthday...it cracks me up. Oh, and don't worry that Trey and Em are 2 and a half years apart in age...pretty sure the little miss is going to out grow him one of these days!

My new favorite of him...

My two messes...

The look says it all...

Just keepin' it real y'all...this is how 90% of our shoots end up...

Well, hello photo blog. My apologies for neglecting you! You see, this little photo business is blossoming and with a full time teaching job you have gotten neglected. I'm going to try and fix that! The Marks' family is going to kick off 'Welcome Back to the Blog'!

There really aren't words to describe this family. Shannon {Lane's mommy}, is one of my sister's. I have LOTS of family, not all blood, but that doesn't matter! We spend Holidays together, we text almost every day, we know deep dark secrets, you name it. A little over a year ago, Shannon and Shane got married. Within one month, Shane shipped off to Korea with the Army. He got to come home for 20 days when Lane was born in May {remember this?}, and then had to go back when Lane was just a couple of weeks old. Friday evening, Shane came home and this morning they rolled out bright and early for Fort Lewis in Washington. We met last night for one last photo shoot. We then headed over to Brother's Pizza, and bawled our eyes out when it was time to leave. I'm losing my walking partner, my sushi date, my pool buddy, and a sister...but, Shannon is starting the best adventure that any of us could have ever prayed for. She has the man of her dreams, and the sweetest baby. She is learning the ropes of being a military wife, and I can't wait to see what awesome things God provides for the Marks family!

Sweet family!

My God son, Lane...can you handle that cuteness? I can't!

I'm going to miss that face!

SO in love.

LOVE me some sun flare!

Marks, I miss you already. It's never goodbye, I'll see y'all later!

Galveston, Oh Galveston...

In case you're on the fence about scheduling a Galveston mini session, I thought I'd share some of our pictures from this past weekend. I wanted to go down to the Island before I had some sessions, just to scope out some areas that would be great. We found some great locations!! I don't get to share my lil' family on here very often, so enjoy!

Trey...he's 5, going on 25!

Miss Mess...

They like each other...but only sometimes!

Contemplation...

Time for the beach!

Don't worry that I had HUGE plans for the 'Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini'...
However, it lasted 2.2 minutes on the beach before it was plopped right down into the sand.
Gotta take what you can get...and I'll take a dirty booty and a cute baby belly any day!

Oh, how I love beach lighting!

Don't forget...May 14/15 is the first round of Galveston sessions. Book now, there are only 2 spots left for that weekend. {1 on Saturday, and 1 Sunday morning}. It is a HUGE savings when compared to a full session!
